Cookie policy for websitedevelopmentbangkok.com
What this website stores in your browser, which is almost nothing, and how consent would work if that ever changes.
What this site stores
Cookies are small text files a website asks your browser to keep, so it can recognise you on the next page or the next visit. Browsers also have local storage, which does a similar job. Under Thailand's PDPA, cookies that identify you or track you count as personal data, which is why sites need a clear notice and, for anything that is not strictly necessary, your consent.
At the time of writing, this website sets no cookies and writes nothing to local storage for ordinary visitors. We checked the live pages when this policy was written. Reading guides, browsing the services, sending the quote or contact form and tapping the WhatsApp button all work without a single cookie. The fonts and scripts are served from our own domain, so no font service or code library from another company sees your visit either.
The only cookies the site ever sets are for our own staff when they sign in to manage it:
| Cookie | Who gets it | Purpose | Lifetime |
|---|---|---|---|
| wordpress_test_cookie | Staff on the sign-in screen only | Checks that the browser accepts cookies before signing in | Browser session |
| wordpress_logged_in_ and wordpress_sec_ (followed by a code) | Signed-in staff only | Keeps an administrator signed in securely | Until sign-out or the browser closes (the sign-in itself lasts up to two days), or up to 14 days if "remember me" is ticked |
| wp-settings- (followed by a number) | Signed-in staff only | Remembers how the admin screens are laid out | Up to one year |
These are strictly necessary for running the site and are never set for visitors who do not sign in.
How consent works here
Because nothing optional is stored, the site does not show a cookie banner: a banner asking you to accept cookies that do not exist would only get in your way. The forms still ask for consent, because they collect personal data. Each one has a tick box that explains why we keep your details, and the form cannot be sent without it.
If we add analytics or any other optional tool in future, the rule is the one we build into client sites. A consent banner appears first, with Accept and Reject given equal weight. Nothing optional loads until you accept. Rejecting is remembered, and the tool stays off. This page would then list each new cookie with its name, purpose, provider and lifetime before the change goes live.
If you are planning the same thing for your own business site, our guide to PDPA cookie consent and consent forms for websites covers what a valid banner and form need, and the comparison of PDPA consent platforms helps you choose a tool that records each choice.
Changing your choice
Today there is no choice to change on this site, because nothing optional is stored. You still control cookies in your own browser, on any website:
- Chrome: Settings, then Privacy and security, then Third-party cookies or See all site data and permissions.
- Safari on iPhone: Settings, then Safari (under Apps on recent iOS versions), then Advanced, then Website Data.
- Firefox: Settings, then Privacy and Security, then Cookies and Site Data.
Blocking all cookies here changes nothing for visitors. Only staff sign-in would stop working. If optional cookies are added later, a link in the footer will reopen the consent banner so you can withdraw or give consent at any time, as easily as you gave it.
More about your data
This page covers only what is stored in your browser. The full notice on how we handle personal data explains what happens to form enquiries, who else processes them, how long we keep them and how to use your rights under the PDPA.
Use of the site in general is covered by our site terms, and our accessibility commitments explain how the pages are built for keyboards and screen readers. Questions about cookies can go to service@websitedevelopmentbangkok.com or through our contact page. This policy is dated 27 September 2026, and the date above changes whenever we update it.

Common questions
Does this site use tracking cookies?
No. At the time of writing the site sets no cookies for visitors: no analytics, no advertising pixels, no social media scripts and no chat widgets. The only cookies it uses are the WordPress sign-in cookies for our own staff when they manage the site. If that ever changes, you will see a consent banner first and this page will list every new cookie.
How do I change my cookie choice?
There is nothing to choose on this site today, because it stores nothing optional in your browser. You can still clear or block cookies for any site in your browser settings. If we add optional cookies later, a link in the footer will reopen the consent banner, so you can withdraw consent as easily as you gave it.
What happens if I reject cookies?
Nothing changes for you as a visitor. Every page, the quote and contact forms, and the WhatsApp button work without cookies, so blocking them in your browser does not break anything. If we ever add optional tools such as analytics, rejecting them will keep those tools switched off while the rest of the site works exactly the same.
Do you use cookies from Google or Meta?
No. The site does not load Google Analytics, Google Fonts, the Meta pixel or any other script from those companies, and our fonts are served from our own domain. The WhatsApp button is a plain link: nothing from Meta loads until you tap it and choose to open WhatsApp, where WhatsApp's own terms and privacy policy then apply.
