Website development for doctors, dental and aesthetic clinics
Clinic websites from THB 30,000: doctor and treatment pages, appointment requests, Thai and English, and patient data handled carefully under the PDPA.
What do patients need from a clinic website?
A clinic website tells patients whether you treat their problem, who the doctor is, roughly what it costs and how to get an appointment, on a phone and in their language. Most clinics fit our Business package, from THB 30,000 with Thai and English pages and booking or enquiry flows; a typical project takes about 15 days.
Patients want those four answers before they contact you. A site that gives them clearly will turn more visits into appointment requests than one built around slogans and stock photos of smiling models.
Trust carries more weight here than in almost any other sector. People are sharing symptoms and sometimes photos, and they want to see a real doctor's name, qualifications and a real address before they do. That is why we plan clinic sites around doctor profiles and treatment pages first, with the appointment button on every page. The general approach is the same one described on our website design and development page; this page covers what is specific to healthcare.
Dental, aesthetic and med spa clinics differ
- Dental practices need clear treatment explanations (implants, braces, whitening), dentist profiles and easy repeat bookings for check-ups.
- Aesthetic clinics sell to people comparing several clinics at once, so doctor credentials, consultation steps and honest aftercare information matter most.
- Med spas and wellness clinics sit between clinic and spa: menus of treatments with durations, packages and gift enquiries, but still with medical staff shown clearly where they are involved.
- General practices and specialist clinics need opening hours, insurance or payment information, and a simple way to request a visit.
Appointment requests and booking flows
Most clinics are better served by an appointment request than by a fully automatic booking calendar. A request lets your front desk check the doctor's schedule, ask a screening question or suggest a different time before confirming. The patient picks a treatment, a preferred date and time slot, and leaves a name and phone or LINE contact. The request arrives by email, your staff confirm by phone or chat, and nobody is double-booked.
A clinic with fixed, simple slots, such as a check-up or cleaning, may prefer live booking where the patient picks an exact time. That usually means connecting a booking tool you already use or choosing one together. Our guide to booking systems for clinics, salons and tours compares the main options. Either way, the flow sits inside your website rather than sending patients off to an unfamiliar page.
- Ask only what you needName, contact, treatment and preferred time. Symptoms can wait for the consultation.
- Treatment picked from a listYour staff see immediately whether it is a check-up, a consultation or a procedure.
- Doctor choice where it mattersPatients who want a specific dentist or doctor can choose one.
- Clear confirmationThe patient sees that this is a request and how you will confirm it.
- Chat alternativeWhatsApp and LINE buttons beside the form for patients who prefer to message.
- Consent and privacy linkConsent wording and your privacy notice on every form.
Patient data and the PDPA
Thailand's Personal Data Protection Act B.E. 2562 (2019) treats health data as sensitive personal data, and collecting it generally requires the person's explicit consent unless another legal basis applies. A clinic website touches this every time a form asks about symptoms, medical history or a treatment someone is considering. The safest design choice is also the simplest: collect as little health information online as you can.
How we build clinic forms
- Forms ask for contact details and the type of appointment, not a medical history. Detailed questions belong in the consultation or a secure intake process at the clinic.
- Where a free-text field is useful, the label tells patients not to include sensitive details they do not want to share.
- A separate, unticked consent box appears wherever health information may be collected, with wording you approve.
- Every form links to your privacy notice, and submissions go only to the inboxes you name.
- Photo uploads, for example for an aesthetic pre-assessment, are left out unless you have a clear process for storing and deleting them.
The site also needs a cookie banner that lets visitors refuse analytics and marketing cookies; our article on cookie consent under the PDPA explains how that works. For the full picture of what we can set up on a site, including privacy notices and consent records, see our PDPA-ready website builds. We build the website side; the clinic stays responsible for how patient data is handled after it arrives, and this page is not legal advice.
Advertising rules and careful content
Advertising by private clinics and medical services in Thailand is regulated, and a clinic website counts as advertising. Rules can cover claims about results, promotional pricing, before and after images and how treatments are described. They change from time to time, so we do not give regulatory advice. What we do is build the site so your content is easy to check and easy to correct.
How we keep content careful
- You or your adviser approve every claim. We draft treatment pages in plain, factual language and flag any line that promises an outcome, so the responsible doctor can review it before launch.
- Before and after images are optional and switchable. If you use them, they sit in one managed gallery you can hide in a click, rather than scattered through many pages.
- No superlatives we cannot support. Phrases such as "the best" or promises of a specific result stay out of the copy.
- Doctor profiles show verifiable facts. Name, qualifications, specialty and languages spoken, entered by your clinic.
- Prices shown as ranges or "from" figures where you choose to show them, with a note that the doctor confirms the final plan.
Before launch, check your pages against the current guidance from the Ministry of Public Health and your professional body. Changing a sentence on a WordPress page takes a minute, so it is far easier to get this right before the site goes live than to fix it after a complaint.
Being found by local and international patients
Most patients look for a clinic near where they live or work, so the details Google shows in Maps matter as much as your home page. Your clinic's name, address, phone, opening hours and specialties should read exactly the same on the site and on your Google Business Profile. We add structured data to the site, a short block of code that describes your clinic, doctors and opening hours in a format search engines read directly. Our guide to schema markup for local businesses explains what it contains and how to test it.
Thai and English
Bangkok clinics often serve two groups: Thai patients searching in Thai for a treatment near them, and expats or medical tourists searching in English, sometimes from abroad before they travel. The English version needs more than translated headings. International patients want to know which doctors speak English, how consultations work for someone staying a short time, how to pay, and how to reach you on WhatsApp before they arrive. Thai patients are more likely to message on LINE. We build both versions with their own pages and put the right chat buttons in front of each audience.
Each treatment page gets its own URL in each language, with a clear title that uses the words patients search for, such as dental implants or acne scar treatment, rather than a brand name for the procedure.
What does a clinic website cost?
Most clinics fit the Business package, from THB 30,000: up to 15 pages in English and Thai, a custom WordPress theme without a page builder, booking or enquiry flows for appointments, schema markup and two revision rounds.
That is usually enough for a home page, doctor profiles, the main treatment pages, pricing information, an about page and contact. A single-doctor practice with a handful of pages can start on Starter, from THB 10,000, which includes WhatsApp and LINE buttons and PDPA cookie consent. You can compare what each package includes before you talk to us; the written quote sets the final price.
A typical project takes about 15 days, plus whatever time your doctors need to review treatment content. We build it as a WordPress developer in Bangkok working in English and Thai, and your staff can edit doctor profiles and opening hours themselves after handover.
Clinics inside hotels or wellness resorts may also find our notes on websites for hotels and resorts useful, and medical groups with property interests can read about real estate agency website design.

Common questions
Can patients book appointments on our clinic website?
Yes. Most clinics use an appointment request form: the patient chooses a treatment, a doctor if relevant, and a preferred date and time, and your front desk confirms by phone, LINE or WhatsApp. If you prefer live booking with exact time slots, we can connect a booking tool you already use. Booking and enquiry flows are included in the Business package.
What does the PDPA mean for patient data on our forms?
Health information is sensitive personal data under the PDPA, so it generally needs explicit consent and careful handling. We keep online forms to contact details and appointment type, add a separate consent box where health details might be shared, and link every form to your privacy notice. Your clinic remains responsible for how the data is stored and used afterwards, and we recommend checking your notice with a legal adviser.
Can we show before and after photos?
That depends on the current advertising rules for your type of clinic and treatment, which we cannot rule on for you. Check with your licensee, professional body or adviser first. If you decide to use them, we place them in one managed gallery with patient consent noted, so you can edit or hide the whole gallery in a click if the rules or your policy change.
Can the site serve medical tourists in English?
Yes. The Business package includes English and Thai versions with their own pages. For international patients we plan the English pages around their questions: which doctors speak English, how consultations and follow-ups work during a short stay, how to pay, and how to reach you on WhatsApp before travelling. Thai patients get Thai pages with LINE contact.
Which package suits a clinic website?
Most clinics need Business, from THB 30,000, because it covers up to 15 pages in two languages, appointment flows and schema markup. A single-doctor practice with a few pages can start on Starter, from THB 10,000. Both prices are indicative starting points; your written quote sets the final figure once we know how many doctors, treatments and languages the site needs.
